EuSoMII webinar

The ‘Data sharing and analytics platforms for medical imaging in the age of big data’ webinar, to be held on 14 May 2020 at 7:00 pm CET by our PC Karim Lekadir (Universitat of Barcelona), will be focused on ongoing efforts and solutions to build platforms that facilitate responsible data sharing in life sciences and medical imaging, in order to promote multi-study and multi-centre approaches in the age of big data. Dr Lekadir will explain why these platforms, as for euCanSHare, are to be developed by following the FAIR data principles, i.e. that data must be Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Re-usable. In the context of medical imaging, issues related to quality control, standardisation, multi-vendor image analysis and validation, will be also presented and discussed.

The webinar is organised by the European Society of Medical Imaging Informatics (EuSoMII) as part of its 2019-20 monthly webinar series and is sponsored by Bracco. Participation is free upon registration.
